Back to the Beginning

I’m going to be honest. I am back up to 255lbs. Yep… 8 years ago, I started my weight loss journey, weighing in at 305 lbs, lost to 188 pounds, hit a plateau and for the past three years it has steadily been creeping back up. Even with all the working out I do – I still gained weight.

Why? I think, I just hit nutrition burnout and I got tired of following nothin but goodhabits. So, I slowly started adding back in certain foods that I know I cant have… especially foods with gluten and dairy… (makes my tummy hurt awful and gives me really bad congestion). That led to eating out – a lot! By a lot, I mean, two to three times a day on some days. At least, once a day, for sure.

A very stress filled life didn’t help either. But, I cant keep using stress as an excuse.

I’m tired. I’m super close to being diabetic. I don’t want to move… but I do it. I have 75 pounds to lose, which is a lot better than the 150 pounds, I had to lose when I first began.

So… back to the drawing board. This is now Day 1 of the 2nd Chapter. Day 1 of a new weight loss journey. Back to the Beginning…

How, am I going to go about it? I’m going to use this blog as my accountability partner…

and if you would like to join in… please do. Comments are welcome.

So here goes: Day One – LogIn Date – Thursday, 7 – 18 – 2019

I want to weigh in this morning. I weighed in Tuesday, but, I felt very inflamed and I weighed 255.2. So, I want to weigh in again this morning to see if inflammation went down. It did! I weighed in at 252. My Body Fat Percentage went down again too.

My trainer was happy. I think, I might have been bit dehydrated on Tuesday. Monday, was a hot day and I worked my booth at Willowstone. When I get busy, I forget to drink water and eat.

I stopped at Starbucks and got me a trenta size green tea and a ham and cheese croissant… which I didn’t need, but it was oh… sooo… good.

I am concerned about David today. He is getting a CT scan. I hope he gets the results soon.

I did my last barbell workout. This set of workouts is now getting retired and I’m getting a new set of workouts on Tuesday. My trainer said there will be a lot of cardio.

I am in a love/hate relationship with exercise.

I saw one of the trainers downstairs in the Life Cafe and she said Try This:

Fast from 7:30 pm to 7:30 am and then eat fruit til lunch time. Eat a responsible lunch and dinner. If you are really, really hungry after 7:30 pm… eat a small apple. Snack on veggies, mini rice cakes and pickles.

I can do that! (Kinda what my own trainer has been telling me to do from the get go).

I met David for lunch at Zoes and had the power grain bowl with grilled chicken. Then we went grocery shopping at Sprouts and stocked up on fruit. For dinner, I had leftover green chili chicken mixed with leftover spanish rice and a tossed salad.

That’s it for Day One… Day Two can only get better.

Thanks for reading…

Wish me luck.

I will remain

Positively, Debbie…

before and after me

At 300 pounds, 188 pounds and now

    I sure love, lady!
    I’m struggling, too.

I recently began a new weight loss program, I’m down 12lbs, but have plateaued already.

I’m beginning to get angry and frustrated.

I hope David is okay. Don’t know why he needed a CT scan, but praying all is well.

    Love,
    Me!
