HI – Been Awhile

Have you ever started writing before you came up with a title? Mostly I came on here to share a new project that I have started and a new You Tube series…

I am going to do the #100DayProject – making 100 cards…Will it only take me 100 Days? We shall see…but I’m not stopping til I get 100 cards… I’m calling it 100 Ways to Make a Card.

I wont do a video for each and every card but I will do a blog post…

The first card I made, I used a card that already had the front adhered to it…I just added a few more scraps and ephemera and embellishments. I like the idea of having a few cards already started – so if I need a card quickly, I can just grab one of them and finish it up quickly.

Card #1

I honestly cannot tell you what papers or paper collections I used. The blue flower paper in the background was already adhered to the card base. I grabbed the brownish flower paper and the blue cardstock banner from my scrap box…

I used a scalloped circle punch from Stampin Up (old) and

The measurements are: in inches

Card base – 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 – scored at 4 1/4Patterned Paper background – 5 3/8 x 4 1/8

Rectangle layer – 4 3/8 x 1 7/8 – You could probably cut it 4 1/2 x 2 if you don’t like to do fractions

Banner layer – 3 1/4 x 2 1/2

The stamp set and die I used for the sentiment and the leaves was Friends for Life. You can definitely use whatever stamp set or focal point you desire…

And thats card one…

Hope you are all doing well…

I’ll have card 2 posted in a few days.
