Did October come earlier this year? Cause it does not seem like it should be October already? I did lose the whole month of August though because I had Covid – round 2. Took about the whole month to recover. Im glad thats over.
We went this past weekend to visit the Happy Apple Farm. We have been taking Zac there to pick out his pumpkin since he was a baby. This is his third year going. It was kind of disappointing this year. The price of pumpkins was horrendous. Ninety-nine cents a pound. I also bought some of their canned goods – green chili salsa, pickles, plum jam, and some peach BBQ sauce plus the pumpkins – $162!!!??? Whaaaattt!? I almost told them to keep their pumpkins. Then after I bought them, I found out they were not pumpkins that they grew. They had them trucked in by some commercial grocery store. No wonder the prices were so jacked up this year. Next year – we will go visit but we are not buying any pumpkins.

I have started my #HallowThanksChristmasweengivingcardseries – 100 Days til Christmas where I try to make as many card as I can between now and Christmas. Most of my cards I sell in my Scrap4Less booth from $2 on up – depending on how fancy the card is.

So between the 1st of October and the 31st of October – I will:
Keep trying to reverse Type 2 diabetes through diet and exercise
Get my lab work done to see if I am actually reversing it.
Make dinner in a pumpkin – this year I am going to use small, individual size pumpkins.
Read some spooky season books and hopefully get a copy of The Pumpkin Spice Cafe
Make Boo-Baskets for my grandson, daughter and best friend
Take the grandson to Trunk or Treat
And write and vlog as much as I can for Vlog/Blogtober…
OH and start scripture writing/creative journal. For scripture writing I use the verses by InfintelyMoreLife.org. The theme this month is Victory In Jesus.. No matter what we are going through – we ARE NOT ALONE! Todays verse is Exodus 32:18
“But he said, ‘It is not the sound of shouting for victory, or the sound of the cry of defeat, but the sound of singing that I hear.’”
Wow – sing it with me… “Oh Victory in Jesus my Savior forever. He sought me and He bought me, with his redeeming blood. He loved me “ere I knew Him and all my love is due Him. He plunged me to victory beneath His cleansing flood.”
When times get overwhelming, the load gets hard to bear just sing out loud for all to hear and bring the Victory near…
Thanks for reading
Positively, Debbie
