Here is the layout I said I would do… I didn’t’ get it posted yesterday since it takes forever to edit and process and download a video. I like how it turned out though. I hope you enjoy the video.
I pieced together 5 scraps of paper laying on my desk to create a 12′ x 12′ background. Not because I thought the papers necessarily went together well, but because I was cleaning off my desk and these papers were just laying there. They kind of went together, so I thought instead of putting them back into the box, I will just use them and came up with this.
I know I used some Stampin Up products. Some of the papers were Stampin Up. The black striped paper was from Butterfly Gala. I also used Stampin Up ink pads, Mango Melody, Lovely Lipstick and Balmy Blue for the ink pad dragging technique. The 6″ x 6″ paper pad is a Recollections paper pad from Michaels that was pre-embossed. Perfect to use mixed media on.
I don’t remember at all, when or where, the picture of David was taken. I just liked the photo and it was already kind of a crazy mishmash of product being used. What better picture to use…
It is after all March Madness.
Happy National Craft Month.
What crafts are you working on?
Till next time,
Positively, Debbie
