What To Do When You Just Don’t Feel Good

Blogust Day 3 – I woke up this morning with really bad kidney pain in my right lower back. I don’t think I pulled a muscle. It feels like kidney pain. I had another migraine last night, took more Ibuprofen and didn’t get to sleep til around 4 am. Luckily, my daughter didn’t go in to work today so I didn’t have to watch the grandson. I just hope this pain gets better by tomorrow. I’m thinking if its not any better when the hubby gets home, I will go to the ER.

I promised myself that I would do Blogust in August and I am going to stick to it. Even through the pain and whatever else might get thrown my way. I recently had lab work done and according to my labs, I am now full blown diabetic. I hope that’s not why my kidney hurts. I am going back to a gluten, dairy free diet, which usually helps get my lab work back to normal. I also started working out, twice a week, with my fitness trainer again.

So what are some ways you just keep going when you aren’t feeling so good?

1. Change your diet that day. Eat some fresh fruit and veggies, which your body is probably craving. I am drinking a BluFrog 2 from Limu, which has a lot of B vitamins in and helps with migraines.

2. Read a good book. Currently, I am reading Crazy Faith, by Michael Todd and Green Rider, by Kristen Britain

3. Keep the day simple – For ex: This blog might not get any pictures. I am just gonna do the simple, light chores today and I will take a shower to pep me up.

4. Take a nap – when you don’t feel good, your body craves rest.
