It’s October – Annual Happy Apple Farm Trip

Time for prolific writing season, Blogtober, Vlogtober and Countdown to HallowThanksChristweengivingmas.

September flew by and once more I did not got get anything done that I wanted to get done. I really need to get out of these doldrums, this depth of despair feeling. Can Seasonal depression start this early?

Am I depressed? I don’t feel motivated to get anything done and everything just feels too overwhelming, which makes me feel anxious about everything. I stay in bed as long as I can to avoid that anxious feeling. Plus, Christmas is in 87 days and when I feel gloomy doomy, the holidays are not fun at all. The whole family feels it.

Yesterday afternoon, for the first time in a long time, I rolled up my sleeves and started tackling an organization project. I want to get my bookshelves in my office/dog room decluttered and reorganized. I am going through everything on my shelves with a fine tooth comb. Some things are going to goodwill. Some things are going up for sale in my booth at American Classic Marketplace. I am trying to make a place for my newest hobby of coloring and gluebooking.

Today, which marks the end of September, we are taking the grandson to The Happy Apple Farm for a hayride and pumpkin picking. We will end the day getting one of their BBQ pulled pork sandwiches and some cider. I think it will be fun if it isn’t too hot.

UPDATE: We went but it felt really hot outside so we just got the apple cider. It was good. Then we headed back into town and went to Fargos Pizza 50th Anniversary Celebration. A large 15” pizza, 4 salads and a pitcher of iced tea. Since there were only three of us eating salads, I used the 4th one and filled it up with vanilla wafers and banana and chocolate pudding!

Plans for October

– declutter and organize bookcases and closet in office

– do some prolific writing on this blog for Blogtober

– make as many crafting videos as possible for Vlogtober.

– keep reading for my GoodReads Challenge List. (I am up to book #44)

– keep gluebooking and coloring

– get Scrap4Less stocked and ready to go for Christmas

– figure out how to sell products from this site

Our day at the Happy Apple Farm

Walking down the road – what adventures will we find?

So many pumpkins
Picking out a pumpkin is tiring

End of a perfect day…

I love Fall – hopefully, we will have more Fall Adventures this month.

P.S. The Powerball lottery is almost a billion dollars. Can you imagine?

May the odds be ever in your favor.

Positively, Debbie.

I hear you I’ve been having a down time myself lately but have to admit getting my yard decorated for fall 🍁 has helped. Wish I could leave pictures here for you, but I did post them on Facebook.
