Pigs in Rainboots – A Better Monday Than Last Week

Hopefully, this week will be better than last week and I get to devote more time to blogging, crafting and business.

Last week started out with the police at the neighbors house, across the street. Their house had been broken into and guns were stolen. That was very discombobulating and made my anxiety go sky high.

Then:

  • my trainer yelled at me for holding to the handrails of the treadmill
  • going to the chiropractor made me sore and grumpy
  • my air conditioner went kaput
  • I lost my inhaler and my anxiety went through the roof again.

Today, I woke up though – and

  • the A/C guy fixed the air conditioner – it was a bad capacitor. He said it was rusted out – Thank God for home warranties – it didn’t cost me a single penny.
  • my new refrigerator came on Saturday and I am loving it
  • I have not eaten out today
  • I have pot roast, carrots and potatoes in the slow cooker…I cooked!!
  • I’m supposed to pick up my inhaler refills tomorrow
  • I made a card.

Now, if Cosmo, (the Great Dane puppy), would just behave himself and stop getting into stuff… this day would be pretty good.

Cosmo – without A/C – looks like he is melting

************************************************************************Here is the card I made – after I found my motivation today – I call it Pig In Rainboots

I used a standard A2 sized white card base

I cut down one of the notecards from the March 2020’s Paper Pumpkin – No Matter the Weather

I used my Stamparatus (in current catalog), This Little Piggie (retired), and Under My Umbrella (in current catalog – pg. 20) stamp sets and the stamp set from the same Paper Pumpkin.

I used the Stamp Write Markers (which are not sold separately anymore) and a few Stampin Blend markers (which are sold separately in the current catalog).

I fussy cut the pig, umbrella, and rainboots out. I used dimensionals to pop up the boots and the umbrella.

I stamped a background of raindrops using Balmy Blue. The other ink pad I used was Basic Black. (I don’t know if that is being sold in the current catalog or not? I know that Memento StazOn black is being sold).

Here is the card… Doesn’t the little piggie look like he’s having fun?

To see the video of me putting the card together – head on over to my YouTube Channel – Positively Debbie. Let me know how you like the card. Leave me a comment. Like. Share.

Thank you

With all my heart

Positively, Debbie
